We had lunch here twice during the last month. The surprise menu item was the "cedar planked salmon with cherry sauce". This dish has a fantastic new taste. This dish might be added to the new menu that is coming soon. Being open at lunch has changed over the last few years. We were happy to find that they are open for lunch now multiple days of the week.
Good food, good service; bang-bang shrimp always a hit. Nice ambience, clean bathrooms, food was served hot, timely and yummy
Mom and I had dinner last night at Bonefish. Made a rez for 6:30 and the place was already at capacity. Nicole was our server, very sweet and attentive. Several specials on the daily menu. We had the fresh catch w/fried cod and shrimp and the linguini Del Mar. Both selections were reasonably priced, well seasoned and served hot to the table by the chef. Along with the bread and oil, we had the house sangria and a Stella Artois. The service was great, the ambience was busy but not too loud and the food was above average. This month featured a 4 course meal paired with Wine! First Course: Crispy Bang Artichoke Salad paired with Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc Second Course: Smoky Crab and Shrimp Risotto paired with Meiomi Pinot Noir Third Course: Filet Del Mar paired with the Prisoner Red Blend Fourth Course: Gooey Butter Cake paired with Unshackled Cabernet Sauvignon My favorite wines from this event was the Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc and the Meiomi Pinot Noir. The Artichoke Salad had a nice pairing and the flavors with the crispy bang sauce was fantastic! The Crab and Shrimp Risotto paired well with the Pinot Noir and had just enough balance of flavoring between crab, shrimp and smoky. The filet was cooked delicious well and paired well with asparagus! The gooey cake was nice and gooey with cranberry's and cranberry sauce! I can speak in regards to the dinner but the service here was AMAZING during the monthly 4 course meal dinner! They have tables set up for it every month and it's also a great way to meet others as you're seated with others! They also do raffles during the dinner as well!
Great to have a local seafood restaurant in the community. They have great service, nice ambiance and a decent menu.
Bonefish is a classic. I love the seasonal and rotating items. Our waitress was very friendly and suggested we try the lobster ravioli and bourbon glazed salmon which were delicious. The pumpkin spice lava cake was enough to share. Very moist well-spiced cake with a little mint garnishment.
The Bonefish in Centreville closed so we started coming here. Back in Friday afternoon. Blake, on the bar was all over it! Drinks right away. Waters. Calamari. Always tasty. Tuna slices. I love it comes with do much wasabi. The tini's are delightful. Eats were served quickly. There were maybe 5-6 others in there. Very cumfy, lots of wood. Our knew go to place. Thx again Blake!!!!!
Came here for Social Hour. The food and drinks were excellent. We sat at a comfortable booth in the bar area. We both ordered the Mango Bourbon. Delicious. Mango gives it a subtle touch of sweetness. Not too much. We were brought yummy bread with seasoned olive oil for dipping. Then we enjoyed BLT nachos (Husband loved this), Crowd Pleaser combo plate, Ahi Tuna Poke ( my favorite), and calamari. Food was a good value. And the drink was the best.
We went on Saturday night for a semi-early dinner (5:45/6pm) and were seated immediately. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We got the bang bang shrimp app to start and the tropic heat martini & smoked old fashioned. The drinks and app were great - can't go wrong with bang bang shrimp! I got the Mahi Mahi and shrimp for dinner and it was delicious. I've never gotten Mahi Mahi before and I really enjoyed it. Everything came out very quickly. I got the feeling that the staff was a little bored because there weren't a ton of guests at the restaurant for a Saturday night. This makes me a little nervous that the business maybe isn't doing too great (especially with the centreville location closing), as this should in theory be the busiest time. Even after we were there for a while, it still didn't get too busy.
